This week we got a chance to head back to our wedding venue. It has been several months since we toured the hotel where we will promise ourselves to each other for all eternity.
Walking in it was just as beautiful as when we first saw it. The tall atrium, elevators, arbors, and water feature really make it a perfect place for our event. It was exciting to stand next to the water feature that will be the backdrop of the ceremony, surrounded by large lights, it’s going to be exactly how I hoped.
We weren’t only there to take a look around, but we also got to choose the folded napkins and saw the black table display for the reception. Black table cloth, chair covers, and napkins against white plates will be elegant. Especially with each table fitted with candles and feathers.
One of the most fun experiences we’ve had with planning this wedding was tasting the fabulous food we will get to serve our esteemed guests. Options from meatloaf to salmon were as delicious as the next. I was most surprised with the flavors of the vegetarian dishes. Now I’m deeply conflicted on what I will be eating!
While we still have a few more months before the big event, time is quickly ticking away and I am so excited to share more of what we are working on.
